Venture House’s Location and International Users  

Venture House is based in the United States. If you voluntarily submit personal information to us while located or residing in a country outside the United States, you understand that you are voluntarily agreeing to the use and processing of such information as provided in this Privacy Policy, including the transfer of your information to the United States—a jurisdiction that may not offer the same data-protection framework as the jurisdiction in which you are located.

Our goal is to provide visitors with information about Venture House and our mission in a straightforward manner. Visitors are not required to register to access any part of our site, except when voluntarily signing up with their name and email address to receive periodic updates about our organization, mental health resources, and upcoming events (see www.venturehouse.org for details).

We may use information that has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified to assess and improve the Venture House website, including enhancing user experience. We may also share aggregated or de-identified information with third parties—such as vendors or potential donors—to help us improve our communications and website. We value your online donations and are committed to ensuring the safety and security of your transactions. Venture House complies with applicable laws and standard practices, using industry-standard protocols that make it extremely difficult for unauthorized parties to intercept your information.  

When processing an online transaction (such as a donation), we ask for your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. This information is stored securely and is only used to process and acknowledge your transaction or to contact you if there are any issues.  

Venture House uses a third-party vendor to process credit and debit card transactions. Our vendor has certified that they adhere to the strictest standards of privacy and is SSL-Certified.  

E-mail Communications  

Venture House sends occasional email updates and program information to the email address you provided when you signed up to receive newsletters or made an online.
