It’s been a busy month at Venture House, filled with connection, advocacy, and celebration. As mental health needs grow across New York, our members, staff, and supporters are out in the community, bringing hope and recovery directly to those who need it most.

We proudly participated in NYC Summer Streets on July 26 in Queens and Staten Island, bringing mental health resources and meaningful connection to local neighborhoods. We’re keeping the momentum going with upcoming events on August 16 in Manhattan and August 23 in Brooklyn and the Bronx. Stop by our outreach tables for free resources, giveaways, and to learn how Venture House supports mental wellness and recovery across New York City. Don’t miss a special live performance by our very own Ventura Band on August 16. Learn more

Our Open House at Venture House Bronx on July 17 was a wonderful opportunity to welcome community members, share our mission, and highlight the support we provide to individuals living with mental health conditions. Thank you to everyone who joined us and explored how they can get involved.
We concluded July with a fun-filled Clubhouse trip to Dorney Park on July 26. A well-deserved day of connection, laughter, and joy that reminded us of the importance of recreation in recovery and community building.
