Supportive Housing Saves Lives!
Venture House’s Housing Team was proud to join the Supportive Housing Network of New York and more than 200 advocates on February 5th in Albany. Staff and members met with legislators to advocate for increased funding in the 2026–2027 State budget, including critical investments in NYSSHP and the Homeless Housing Assistance Program. Supportive housing is key to creating long-term stability. Learn more about our housing program: https://venturehouse.org/housing/

Alliance for Rights and Recovery Legislative Day – Lobby Day
On February 10th, Venture House participated in the annual Alliance for Rights and Recovery Legislative Day in Albany, New York. It was an inspiring day of advocacy, sharing stories and ensuring our voices were heard in support of mental health services and recovery. We met with the offices of State Senators Joseph Addabbo, Kristen Gonzalez, Leroy Comrie, and Assemblymembers George Alvarez, Ron Kim, Yudelka Tapia, and Claire Valdez. Thank you to our legislators for taking the time to meet with our team, and committing to invest in the communities they serve.
“Lobby day was a fun experience that felt like I could see how we are all making a difference” – Clarita
